Photos

I love taking photographs... it's something I've done since I was a teenager. In my adult life the camera has served many purposes. Aside from capturing glimpses of life to hold onto and remember, for me it has been a way to make money as a photojournalist. It has also served as a tool to help in my recovery from agoraphobia, providing me with an opportunity to feel more protected from the outside world by peering at it through the other side of the lens while simultaneously being so intrigued by the world that I no longer paid attention to how many steps I was taking away from the front door. Taking photos, and photographs in general, are important to me. Although this page is still in progress, below I will soon share not only photographs I have taken over the years, but also photos that are of personal significance because they preserve snippets of my life as well as the lives of those who are and have been dear to me.
